Drivers and riders share the same responsibility on Idaho roads.

Initiative Goals:

Maintain the 5-year average motorcycle fatalities at 34 or fewer
Primary audience: males 40–60
Promote rider training, motorist awareness, and sober riding

Riding in Idaho is a way of life, and it takes a community to protect it.

From our mountain passes to city main streets, motorcycles are part of how Idahoans experience the places they love. But crash data shows that riders are among the most vulnerable people on the road, and that reality is something we can’t ignore.

Motorcycle safety isn’t just a rider issue, it’s a road issue, too. Both drivers and riders share a responsibility to keep Idaho roads safe, and conversations around rider safety and driver awareness are worth having. When we do our part, more riders make it home.
