Sober drivers save lives.

One person can be the difference whether someone makes it home safe. It could be the one who skips drinks to be the DD. Or the rideshare driver who pulls up at 2 a.m. The bartender who knows when to call it. The parent who says “no questions asked.” The friend who offers their couch in trade for car keys.

These are the unsung heroes, and they are worth celebrating. Let’s give them the thanks they deserve.

How to thank your hero tonight:

Buy your DD an NA mocktail, or two!
Be a 5-star rideshare passenger—buckle up, be ready, don’t slam the door
Tip your bartender extra when you hear them cut someone off
Send a thank-you text the next morning

How to be someone’s hero tonight:

Offer to be the DD before the night starts
Download a rideshare app ahead of time
Let a friend crash on your couch instead of driving home
Say “no questions asked” and mean it
