Brand Marks

Our logo is a visual symbol of our brand

Our logo is a visual expression of our mission. It captures movement, direction, and the evolving story of Idaho’s roads. It represents Shift as both an idea and an action.

We are shaping the meaning and legacy of roadway safety through the Shift brand.

Primary logo

Our primary logo combines the Shift wordmark with an Idaho-inspired symbol. The wordmark is set in a bold, rounded sans-serif font style, creating a tone that is approachable, modern, and confident. The symbol is a simplified outline of the state, integrated with a subtle directional arrow. This reinforces the idea of progress, movement, and change.

The logo system includes several core variations to ensure flexibility across applications:

  • Primary: Black on light backgrounds
  • Sun Accent: Symbol paired with a golden circle
  • Photo Overlay: White for use on imagery
  • Horizontal Lockup: Wordmark paired with symbol
  • Reverse: White on brand color backgrounds

Always choose the version that provides the strongest contrast and clarity based on the background, whether solid color or photography.

Brand mark

The brand mark is a distilled representation of Idaho. Its bold, simplified form ensures instant recognition, while the integrated arrow reflects Shift as a movement.

Structure

The proportions and relationships within the logo are carefully considered and should never be altered. Maintaining this structure ensures consistency and preserves the integrity of the brand.

Clear space

Clear space is the minimum area surrounding the logo that must remain free of all other elements. Providing adequate space protects legibility and ensures the logo maintains its presence and impact in any layout.
